They’re easy to assemble with just two ingredients: Chapman’s Markdale Creamery Maple Crunch Ice Cream and Bear Paws Maple cookies. Each bite delights with sweet maple flavour. You can even add custom toppings such as mini chocolate chips, maple flakes or toasted coconut for an elevated flavour experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Bear Paws Maple cookies
  • Approx. 1/4 carton Chapman's Markdale Creamery Maple Crunch ice cream
  • Optional garnishes: maple flakes, maple syrup, mini chocolate chips, nut-free granola, toasted coconut, dark chocolate

Gather ingredients. Unwrap all of the Bear Paws cookies. Optional: you can freeze these flat on a plate to make assembly even easier.

Open the carton of Markdale Creamery Maple Crunch ice cream, including the sides, so that it can be sliced. Cut a ¾” slice off the short end of the ice cream.

Cut the slice of ice cream into thirds.

Place one section of ice cream between two Maple Bear Paws cookies and press together gently.

Place on a plate and freeze until ready to serve. Optional: you can make these ice cream sandwiches even more special by adding fun garnishes!

Some tasty garnish ideas: brushing maple syrup on one side and sprinkling with maple flakes, melting a small amount of dark chocolate and drizzling it on one side and sprinkling with maple flakes, dipping one end into toasted coconut/maple flakes/fine, nut-free granola/mini chocolate chips.
