Ice Cream Stuffed Cupcakes

These tasty treats are great for any occasion. These fun little cupcakes have a little surprise inside… our original Dutch Chocolate ice cream! Decorated with whipped cream, a dash of colorful sprinkles and topped with a cherry, this is sure to add a bit of fun to your special occasion! Ingredients

  • 1 box store bought chocolate cake/ cupcake mix or your favorite cupcake recipe – prepare as per directions
  • 12 scoops Chapman’s Original Dutch Chocolate Ice cream
  • Whipped cream
  • Cherries
  • Sprinkles

Preparation Instructions

Prepare/ bake cupcakes as directed and allow them to cool fully.

Using a knife, cut out a circle in the middle of the cupcake from the top and then scoop out some of the inner part, leaving the cupcake intact at the bottom and sides.

Next, slice the bottom off each cupcake scrap (this will be the hat to place back on top).

Fill each hole with a scoop of Chapman’s Original Dutch Chocolate Ice cream. Place each hat back on and garnish with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry! Enjoy immediately or place back into the freezer to keep firm.
