Markdale, ON – In a stiff competition, Chapman’s “The Only Chocolate” Premium ice cream came first at the International Ice Cream Consortium (IICC) conference. This year’s conference was held in Dubai, UAE, and hosted ice cream industry leaders from 13 countries.
In this much anticipated international ice cream tasting competition, members nominated their best chocolate ice cream products to be judged by their peers at the conference. Samples were presented and tasted – and members voted for the one top product according to specific criteria including overall taste, creaminess, and visual appearance. Chapman’s chocolate ice cream took a solid lead and was proudly recognized as the best chocolate ice cream.
“I am extremely proud that our peers from around the world voted for our ice cream to be the best of the best. It was not an easy competition with so many outstanding ice cream products participating,” said Ashley Chapman, the Chief Operating Officer at Chapman’s.
Selling on the Canadian market since 2019, The Only Chocolate is one of Chapman’s best-selling products. This Premium ice cream has an authentic chocolate flavour and a lusciously smooth texture. It was designed for ultimate chocolate lovers. Like all Chapman’s products, The Only Chocolate is Kosher and made with 100% Canadian dairy.
Chapman’s also took a third place win in the Best Commercial Solution with their creative collaboration with ChickAdvisor. By working with one of the largest Canadian shopping forums, Chapman’s was successful at creating new product awareness through their targeted product testing programs across Canada.
The IICC is an international association of independent ice cream manufacturers, founded in 1986. Chapman’s has been a member of the IICC since 2013.
