Reports To: IT Manager

The Senior Helpdesk Technician will provide first class helpdesk support services to a large production / office facility.  They will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring the helpdesk technician by sharing their experience, knowledge, and best practices.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Answer support calls and log support tickets
  • Providing hands on, and remote support to users
  • Monitor and respond to automated alert notifications

Position Requirements

  • Strong team player and leader with excellent written and verbal communications, maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • CompTIA A+ Hardware Certification preferred
  • Experience with enterprise level ERP, WMS, and SCADA would be an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office products is required
  • A willingness to learn and master other software applications deployed throughout the organization
  • A strong diagnostic skill set is required with a proven methodical approach to troubleshooting

Working Conditions

Position is based in office in Markdale Ontario, day shift hours.  This position will be part of the on-call support rotation to support the facilities during non-office working hours.
